Four Shortlisted for ATO Managed Network Services
The Australian Taxation Office took just over three weeks to arrive at a shortlist for the first tranche of its major IT outsourcing arrangement.
CSC, Dimension Data, Optus and Telstra have been invited to formally bid for the managed network services contract that is estimated to be worth $55 million per year. Over the course of its life (5-7 years), the contract may be worth up to $385 million.
Quoted in ZDNet, ATO CIO Bill Gibson indicated that only seven expressions of interest were received when it closed on 29 February.
