budget IT 2011-12

This tool is an important lead indicator of upcoming ICT projects, providing a comprehensive and actionable list of the ICT allocations in the Annual Budgets of governments at the State and Federal level. 

budget IT  is available for Federal, New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, Western Australia, South Australia, Northern Territory, Australian Capital Territory, Tasmania and New Zealand. 

budget IT  is presented in a filterable searchable Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet. 

Released annually between June and mid July (depending on the date the budget is brought down), budget IT includes:

• The total ICT allocations for each jurisdiction and within that, by portfolio and agency;
• Separate listings by portfolio and agency of:
  •  Funded programs which have addressable ICT within them,
  • The total ICT Capital Expenditure budget
  • The highlighted ICT projects to be funded from Operating Expenditure
• The total estimated ICT Operating Expenditure budget
• A summary of the total value of funded ICT projects broken down by hardware, and software, IT services and telecommunications.

Where clients purchase the entire set of ten budget IT reports, they will also be provided, at no further cost, with the other elements of the ANZ Public Sector Outlook 2011-12.
