Intermedium’s online Knowledge Base provides subscribers access to deep insights on contemporary ICT issues in all Federal and State Government ICT markets.  It does this through the addition of new material to the Knowledge Base each day via articles and analysis pieces; market snapshots, market leader boards, a tender’s database and a contract’s database.

Approximately 1200 articles currently exist in the Knowledge Base, fully searchable by subscribers.  Approximately one third pertain to the various state jurisdictions and two thirds to the Federal Government ICT market.  They provide comprehensive intelligence regarding target agencies and the market in general.

The Knowledge Base is supported by a weekly eNewsletter service, and in 2011-12 a selective alert service, based on the preferences users place in their account profiles will be implemented.

The value of the Knowledge Base to sales professionals is that it gives them access to contextual information for informed dialogue with agency representatives about wider and strategic issues.

In February 2012, Intermedium will be introducing two new alerts features. One will be an article alert, that will deliver Knowledge Base users an update via email on the latest articles that have been added to the Knowledge Base and the other will be a tender alert service that will update subscribers on the latest ICT tenders, released by the government.

The value to senior executives is that the Knowledge Base allows them to stay abreast of key developments across jurisdictions without having to invest personal time and effort into the gathering of such information.  This is particularly true of the various ‘Analysis’ pieces that Intermedium places in the Knowledge Base from time to time.  It also allows senior executives access to independent information to balance with the information being presented to them by their direct reports.
