IT Services % Change in Total Contract Value at the Sub-Category Level 2007-08 to 2008-09

Managed Services continued to be the powerhouse in IT Services, growing more than other categories. It surged to new highs due to a number of outsourcing arrangements (which all broadly commenced in either 1998-99 or 1999-2000) coming to the end of their contractual terms.

The dramatic decrease in ‘Not Specified’ is because contract descriptions provided by agencies have generally improved and that has allowed Intermedium to categorise contracts more accurately.
