Tier 1 Agencies % Change in ICT Contracts

The Australian Taxation Office experienced the greatest increase in ICT contracts more than doubling to $1.1 billion from 2007-08 to 2008-09. Over 75% of this increase was driven by just two very large multi-year managed services agreements for IT Services with EDS and Telco Services with Optus.
The Department of Immigration and Citizenship had the second greatest increase at 51% which was driven by a large managed services contract with Optus for Telco Services.
