FINAL WEEK TO BOOK - last seats remain
2010-11 was the biggest year yet for the Federal Government ICT market, with over $6 billion in total value of new contracts signed. It also saw the establishment of a number of Whole of Government (WofG) panels.
Intermedium's Planning for 2012 briefing will provide a summary of the Federal Government ICT market events of 2010-11 that will shape 2012. IT will do this from the perspective of:
- Agencies;
- Suppliers; and
- Hardware, Software, IT Services and Telecommunications activity in the market.
The briefing will address the following key questions:
- What impact is Managed Services having on the market and how did the non-managed services part of the market fare?
- What happened with the Tier 2, Tier 3 and 4 agencies and their suppliers in 2010-11 and what does this suggest for the market in 2012?
- What is happening with the Labour Hire market?
- The budget for 2011-12 is lean on ICT initiatives and puts most of the funding into DHS – but what progress yet?
- What level of business is now going through the WofG panels? How much will this increase?
- What are the Q1 indicators for market performance for 2011-12?
Given the predicted Mini Budget, Intermedium will seek to answer the following questions:
- Where are expenditure cuts most likely to be fall inside government, and why?
- Are any agencies more vulnerable than others?
- Which categories of supply will be hit hardest, and why?
- How should suppliers respond in the face of this further belt tightening?
