Probity
Independence, objectivity and neutrality are core values to Intermedium’s business.
We recognise that if our staff do not adhere to the highest ethical standards in regard to the information we become privy as part of our client engagements, our long term business viability is fundamentally jeopardised.
To allay concerns any potential client may have, Intermedium offers the following assurances.
Avoidance of Actual Conflict of Interest
Intermedium does not undertake work that creates a conflict of interest, for example, between:
- A vendor and an agency where a procurement process might involve both the agency and the vendor; and
-
Two vendors competing for the same opportunity.
Separation of Research and Consulting
Intermedium ensures strict internal separation between research and consulting work.
Information that we become privy to as part of a consulting assignment does not inform any research, unless it is public domain information or the client gives express permission for this to occur.
Use of Non-disclosure and Confidentiality Agreements
Wherever requested, Intermedium works with clients under strict non-disclosure and confidentiality arrangements and ensures all staff and sub-contractors are aware of, understand and adhere to these.
Factual base to all research
Intermedium’s research is based on clearly defined, factual evidence sourced from original public sector data in the public domain.
These sources include AusTender contracts data and equivalents within state governments, portfolio budget statements, and annual reports.
