Roundtable Description

The recent Queensland Government’s ICT Working Group Forum held on 2nd December, identified a number of key priorities for 2010:

  • Contractor engagement model implementation;
  • Smart Jobs Campaign aligned to the National Broadband Network role out;
  • Implementation of the ICT Strategic Plan;
  • ICT Industry Development;
  • Review of GITC;
  • Early industry engagement in procurement planning;
  • SME Participation Scheme; and
  • How might some of these priorities play out in 2010?

Also how might industry best engage with government agencies in the New Year to achieve best outcomes?

The Intermedium Roundtable will answer these questions, and more. Former government CIO’s will provide candid comments about their experiences in managing this type of change.

Roundtable Overview

The Intermedium Roundtables are a series of invitation only briefings, open to government and industry representatives. Numbers are limited to 10-20 people at each roundtable to allow plenty of time for questions, and open discussion about major issues.

Former government CIO's will be available to offer insights drawing on practical experience dealing with Governments.

Who should attend?

  • Existing and intending ICT suppliers to Queensland Government Agencies;
  • Business Development Managers; and
  • Queensland government agency personnel.
