Queensland Ombudsman QLD The Queensland Ombudsman independently reviews the actions of state government agencies, local government and some universities. We also help agencies improve their decision-making and administrative practice.   
Victorian Ombudsman VIC The Ombudsman enquires into or investigates administrative actions taken by a Government department or public statutory body or by any member of staff of a municipal council. 
Ombudsman of NSW NSW The NSW Ombudsman is an independent and impartial watchdog. Our job is to make sure that agencies we watch over fulfil their functions properly and improve their delivery of services to the public.
Commonwealth Ombudsman Federal The Ombudsman’s office handles complaints, conducts investigations, performs audits and inspections, encourages good administration, and carries out specialist oversight tasks.
Ombudsman SA SA Ombudsman SA investigates complaints about South Australian government and local government agencies, and conducts freedom of information reviews.  Ombudsman SA can also receive information about government activities confidentially from whistleblowers.
Ombudsman Western Australia WA The Ombudsman serves Parliament and Western Australians by resolving complaints about the decision making of public authorities and improving the standard of public administration.
Ombudsman NT NT The Ombudsman receives and considers complaints from members of the public about Northern Territory Government departments, statutory authorities, shire or community councils, Northern Territory Police or Correctional Services.
ACT Ombudsman ACT The role of ACT Ombudsman is discharged by the Commonwealth Ombudsman as a result of an arrangement between the ACT and Australian governments.
