Ahead of the federal budget and election, the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) has put a policy submission to Federal government.
The AIIA asserts that if adopted, its recommendations will ensure Australia meets the Government’s stated objectives to be a top three digital government globally by 2025 and a leading digital economy by 2030.
Recommendations regarding digital twinning, the establishment of a Federal digital restart fund, and changes to My Health Record are among the twenty-five that sit under digital government, emerging critical technologies, skills agenda, domestic capability, commercialisation agenda and digital health sub-headings.
