CrimTrac has received an award for its National Police Reference System (NPRS). The award recognises NPRS in the category of e-Government and Services for the ACT.
CrimTrac is the national information service for policing information, and the NPRS allows police across Australia to exchange information, enabling them to access information about people in various jurisdictions. It is being rolled out across the country.
The winner of the ACT section of the iAwards, CrimTrac's NPRS will now compete from winners in other states and territories for the national award in May.
