Last week’s top contract: Defence-SAAB

The Department of Defence’s $22.8 million capability system upgrade contract with SAAB was the largest reported on AusTender last week (22-26 August).

The contract, which will run between 19 August 2016 and 29 December 2018, is the company’s largest since 2005-06, according to Intermedium’s Analyse IT tool, and the second capability system upgrade contract to be signed by the company this financial year.

SAAB ranked 199th on Intermedium’s 2015-16 Supplier Leader Board with 11 contracts worth $3.5 million. It has signed a total of 216 contracts valued at $69.4 million since 2005-06.
