Last week’s top contract: Defence-SAAB

The Department of Defence’s $13.9 million capability system upgrade contract with SAAB was the largest reported on AusTender last week (25-29 July 2016).

The contract, which will run between 11 July 2016 and 29 December 2018, is SAAB’s first contract for 2016-17. According to Intermedium’s Analyse IT tool, it is the largest contract to be signed by the company since 2005-06.

SAAB ranked 199th on Intermedium’s 2015-16 Supplier Leader Board with 11 contracts worth $3.5 million. It has signed a total of 215 contracts worth $55.5 million since 2005-06.
