The Department of Defence’s $49.1 million contract with Thales for Long Lead Time Item IT Equipment was the largest reported on AusTender last week (18-22 April 2016).

The contract will run between 5 April 2016 and 31 December 2016. It is Thales’ third contract above $40 million so far in 2015-16, according to Intermedium’s Analyse IT tool.

Excluding the recent Defence contract, Thales ranked seventh on Intermedium’s 2015-16 Supplier Leader Board with 80 contracts worth $131.5 million. Thales has signed a total of 1,130 contracts worth $589.7 million, almost solely with the Department of Defence, since Intermedium began collecting contracting data in 2009-10.
