The Department of Human Services’ $484.2 million contract with IBM for Mainframe Lease and Maintenance was the largest reported on AusTender last week (14-18 March 2016).

The contract, which was first announced by the Minister for Human Services Alan Tudge on 11 March, will run between 1 January 2016 and 31 December 2020. It is IBM’s largest so far in 2015-16, according to Intermedium’s Analyse IT tool.

Excluding the recent DHS contract, IBM is ranked third on the 2015-16 Intermedium Supplier Leader Board with its 78 contracts totalling $135.9 million. IBM has signed a total of 2,113 contracts worth $3.1 billion since Intermedium began collecting contracting data in 2009-10.
