Logica was the named the outright winner at a sell-out industry breakfast for the 2009 Froggy Awards last week, also taking out a category award for growth against their existing customer base.
The annual Froggy Awards recognise outstanding sales growth in the Australian Federal Government ICT marketplace.
Prizes are awarded to the supplier(s) with the highest average growth rate in sales represented by AusTender reported contract value for the preceding three financial years. To be eligible, suppliers must have achieved a minimum annual contract value of $150,000 in each of the three years.
Category winners were:
Category 1 EDS (now HP Enterprise Services)
Category 2 Datacom
Category 3 Logica
The last three years have delivered a general market slow-down for most suppliers. Nonetheless, there have been hot spots of ICT activity and some companies have experienced outstanding growth.
This year, the Froggy Awards are especially significant as they recognise companies who have achieved significant growth in difficult economic times.
