Subscriber preview

The NSW Government has issued a tender for the final stage of its telecommunications procurement, for Telecommunications Systems and Services. This RFT calls for contractors to join a panel for a period of up to five years.

The new panel will include the following products and services:

  • Telephony systems
  • Voice and/or Video Mail and Unified message systems
  • Call accounting
  • Contact centre systems
  • Interactive Voice Response
  • Handsets, audio conference phones, headsets, etc
  • Voice recording systems
  • Audioconferencing, videoconferencing and webcam
  • Network systems and services
  • Paging

The initial term of this panel is two years, with an option to extend for three further terms of one year each.

The NSW Government has adopted a strategy of using whole-of-government panel contracts to procure telecommunications products and services. It is part of the Government's ICT Strategic Plan (July 2006) that sets a framework for co-ordinating government-wide procurement, designed to generate significant savings.

There will be no industry briefing for this RFT.
