A new senior position has been created within the Department of Parliamentary Services to provide services to both houses of NSW Parliament. With an annual remuneration package of $219,700, the Executive Manager, Parliamentary Services will be responsible for providing a range of services to Members of Parliament and the Departments of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly.
Provision of these services was previously the responsibility of the clerks of both houses. Information Technology is one of the areas of responsibility for the new Executive Manager, and the Manager Parliamentary Information Technology Services is a direct report of this new position.
