The Northern Territory Government sits in seventh place in Intermedium’s 2022 Digital Government Readiness and Maturity Indicator Report (DGRMI)*, behind New South Wales, Federal, New Zealand, Australian Capital Territory, Victoria and Western Australia.

While trailing Australia’s digital government leaders, the NT’s position on the ladder must be considered alongside its geographic and demographic challenges and with an acknowledgement that it leads three jurisdictions with much larger populations and budgets.
