Oracle has had a further contract win at the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC), worth more than $6.9 million.

This contract covers the software licences associated with ASIC’s decision to adopt Siebel as the core technology for its multi-dimensional case management system.

Following the software licence contract, ASIC is understood to be in negotiations with potential systems integrator(s).

ASIC’s decision to adopt Siebel is understood to have been influenced by its widespread use in the Tax Office.

The latest contract follows wins for Oracle worth more than $1.86 million in 2007-08, and an earlier contract this year, worth $4.98 million.
