Technology reuse, a transition to common platforms, and adoption of user-centric design will underpin the next five years of the Victorian Government’s digital transformation.
The new Victorian Digital Strategy 2021-2026 (the Strategy), released late in 2021, presents a vision for better, fairer, more accessible services; a digital-ready public sector; and a thriving digital economy.
However, unlike the strategy it replaced, this Strategy does not contain a corresponding plan that provides timelines and expected progress. Instead, agencies are likely to need project or consulting resources to put the Strategy into practice.
