South Australia Health (SA Health) is in the final stages of its One Procurement Solution program that began in 2008. The Department has formally notified the Public Service Association of SA (PSA) that it has entered ‘Oracle Phase 3’ which includes the deployment of the procure-to-pay and supply chain solution across the remaining SA Health sites. According to the PSA, “The Department believes the program will enable end-to-end procure-to-pay and supply chain management through the use of the three systems: Oracle, Basware and Imprest Management System”. These systems are to replace a number of aged legacy systems and deliver common business practice across 24 hospitals.
