Telstra and Optus Join List of Technology Giants at CeBIT Australia 2008

Hanover Fairs Australia, organiser of CeBIT Australia has confirmed that Optus and Telstra will join multinational technology vendors Fujitsu, Motorola, Oracle, Panasonic, Red Hat, Siemens, Sony and Yahoo at the 2008 CeBIT event.

According to Hannover Fairs, the attendance of these major brands demonstrates that CeBIT Australia 2008 has already attracted record interest.

Optus' Small and Medium Business division has entered into a multi-year agreement with CeBIT Australia. "CeBIT Australia offers an ideal platform for us to showcase products including mobile, broadband and wireless solutions while building and maintaining strong customer relationships," said Phil McDermott, Head SMB Product Marketing at Optus.

Telstra has booked two separate CeBIT Australia stands, one for its Sensis directories division within the eMarketing section of the exhibition showfloor, and the other for its new T[Life] brand/concept store.

CeBIT Australia 2008 is open 20-22 May at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour. More than 750 exhibitors will showcase their technologies and solutions to an audience of more than 35,000 business visitors The event also includes six specialist business technology and innovation conferences.

A record 14 official international trade delegations, as well as record numbers of overseas business visitors, are also expected to attend.
