Vacancy for Corporate Services Position in NSW With IT Responsibility

NSW Attorney General's Department is advertising for a new Director Corporate Services "to play a pivotal role in the leadership team during a period of significant structural, cultural and technology driven change."

This position is available following the move of Michael Talbot to the position of Assistant Director General, Court and Tribunal Services.

The occupant of this position reports to the CEO, and leads a team of 200 through 9 direct reports. The Director is responsible for a range of corporate service functions, including IT. One of the key areas of focus is implementing electronic service delivery.

The requirements of the position include demonstrated success in leading organisation and system change, and depth of understanding of the machinery of government and its regulatory regime. A remuneration range of $200,000 - $220,000 pa is on offer.

As a result of transfers and promotions, Attorney General's also has two other senior vacancies: Director Finance and Strategy that reports to Director Corporate Services, and Director of Service Operations (package around $200,000 neg.)

The agency has over 5,000 employees and a budget in excess of $600m.
