WA Toolkit sets the Standard on Misconduct Management

A toolkit has been developed in WA to help public agencies manage misconduct. A large number of State and local agencies and authorities were involved in development of the toolkit that has attracted considerable interest from outside WA.

Developed by the Corruption and Crime Commission (CCC), the toolkit Misconduct Resistance: An integrated governance approach to protecting agency integrity is designed to assist agencies better manage misconduct by increasing the positive factors that prevent misconduct from occurring, and eliminating the factors that foster misconduct.

The toolkit contains a comprehensive list of checkpoints to help agencies implement and review their approach to misconduct resistance and assess and deal with their misconduct risks. It can be used in a number of different ways, including to benchmark performance and to assess existing misconduct resistance strategies.
