A further seven suppliers have been added to the Department of Finance’s (Finance) newly established Whole of Government (WofG) Mobile Panel, bringing the total number of suppliers to fifteen. The panellists announced on October 31 2014 were:

  • CDTS Australia;
  • Forward IT;
  • Outware Systems Australia;
  • Precision Technologies Australia;
  • Telstra;
  • UXC Connect; and
  • VoIP.

Finance revealed the first eight suppliers in September 2014:

  • Dialog;
  • iiNet;
  • Jadu Software;
  • Mnet Mobile;
  • Oxygen8 Communications Australia;
  • Reddo Media Services;
  • Stripy Sock Software; and
  • TransACT Capital Communications.

All Departments and other ‘budget-dependent’ agencies must use the Panel to procure mobile voice and data carriage as well as mobile handsets and broadband devices.  The purpose of the Panel is to reduce costs, improve efficiencies and promote behaviour change, at the same time as meeting the business needs of agencies.

Government agencies can view maximum prices and the list of services in Govdex.

Finance will add further suppliers over the coming weeks.
