Director, Government ICT Strategy and Policy, Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet
Geoff has been the driving force behind the last three ICT Strategies for the Victorian Government, and has longstanding experience in whole-of-government policy development and major project delivery.
His current work is focussing on enterprise systems - particularly cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning systems and workplace productivity.
Prior to his current role, Geoff was the Acting Executive Director, Digital Government at the Department of State Development, Business & Innovation where he focused on Whole-of-Government ICT strategy, architecture, policy, standards, and procurement for the Victorian Government. He was also responsible for a number of committees, including the Victorian ICT Advisory Committee, Victorian Chief Information Officers’ Executive; and the Victorian Chief Information Officers’ Council.
Geoff has represented Victoria on the Cross Jurisdictional CIO Council, which brings together the peak CIOs from each State and the Commonwealth Government.
He is a Canberra boy, but has lived in Melbourne for almost 20 years; and still resists supporting any football team.
