According to Intermedium’s detailed analysis, the delayed 2020-21 Federal budget contains the largest total amount of ICT-related New Policy Initiative (NPP) funding announced in more than a decade, driven by a need the need for the Australian Public Service (APS) to respond to COVID 19 on many fronts.
The Government has continued to reaffirm its goal that all services that can be digital will be digital by 2025 and has more recently expressed a goal to have a digital economy by 2030 as one of the means of assisting the economy to recover from the massive economic and social impacts of the pandemic.
