Busy vendors travelling between locations sometimes require quick offline access to information about government agencies. A recent update to the Government Online Directory may be a valuable resource for such people.

The Federal Government’s online directory is a useful source of information about the Federal Parliament and government agencies. It contains detailed information on the structure of each agency, as well as the names and positions of all senior executives.

A little known feature of the directory is contained in the bottom, left hand corner of the home page. This allows interested parties to download a PDF version of the Directory, containing 640 pages of useful information.

Previously, the offline directory had become quite out of date. The recent (end October) release brings the hardcopy version up to date.
