PolicyPoint has signed a 3-year contract with Fairfield City Council, to implement a platform to ensure staff members actually complete online training or policy education programs. PolicyPoint participated in Intermedium’s Government Sales Fundamentals program late in 2006, and attributes at least part of its success at Fairfield CC with this program.
Knowledge gained at Intermedium's course helped PolicyPoint BDM, Don Eade, succeed in securing the Fairfield City Council contract. “The intimate knowledge taught by Judy Hurditch and Kevin Noonan really alerted me to the fact that sales to any public organisation require patience and special skills,” said Mr Eade.
Intermedium welcomes PolicyPoint's new government market success. Intermedium's Government Sales Fundamentals program is designed specifically for NSW-based technology companies, to help them achieve success in government markets. It is conducted with the support of NSW Department of State and Regional Development.
This is PolicyPoint’s second major Government contract – after signing the NSW Government's Office of the Premier and Special Events last year.
Fairfield City Council is one of NSW’s largest local government organisations, with 200,000 residents and a strong business sector. Fairfield City Council will be using the PolicyPoint platform to manage a personalised policy library for each staff member, and ensure that staff members comply with their training requirements.
PolicyPoint’s automated service ensures staff receive the information they need to know, and maintains contact with each staff member until the training has been completed. Managers are automatically informed of any staff who fail to complete the training or are struggling with key principles.
