The Department of Defence’s $42.9 million contract with Fujitsu for information technology, broadcasting or telecommunications components was the largest reported on AusTender last week (27 June-1 July 2016).

It is Fujitsu’s largest contract so far in 2015-16, and will run between 17 June 2016 and 31 December 2018. It is understood to be associated with the next stage of the Next Generation Desktop Project.

Excluding the contract, Fujitsu ranks seventh on Intermedium’s 2015-16 Supplier Leader Board with 302 contracts worth $148.8 million. Fujitsu has signed a total of 1,814 contracts worth $1.36 billion since Intermedium began collecting contracting data in 2009-10.
