NSW citizens are now able to renew many government licences by using their mobile devices, broadening access to, and easing usability of, Service NSW’s online digital channel.

A media release on behalf of NSW Minister for Finance and Services, Dominic Perrottet, states:

“Now with your smartphone or tablet you can purchase or renew some of the most popular Government permits and licences while you’re on the go.”

“Twenty-five of NSW Government’s licencing services across six agencies have been simplified and are accessible through the Service NSW mobile site.”

“The new mobile forms have been optimised for mobiles with fewer steps involved to complete transactions making the whole process easier and faster.”

“It is 50 per cent quicker and transactions on average take just two minutes in total to complete using the new mobile site.”

“This will spare people the hassle of waiting in queues and best of all it cuts down on government red tape,” according to media release.
