New Queensland eTendering site

The Queensland Government Chief Procurement Office (QGCPO) has launched a new eTendering website. The agency says the new website will improve procurement processes for both agencies and those wanting to sell to Queensland Government.

Prospective suppliers will need to register in order to gain access to tender information available on the site, including new tenders, forward procurement plans and contracts awarded. They will also be able to create alerts to be notified by email about new tenders and submit electronic tender responses.

The new site has been running since 17 September, and tenders published before that date will remain on the old eTendering wesbite until closed.

The QGCPO advises that forward procurement information will be progressively uploaded to the new eTendering site.

Links to the procurement and tenders sites for all state and territory governments (although NOT the new Queensland site) are available at the Federal AusTender site.
