New Environment Protection and Data Agencies; Approvals Overhaul Delayed

The federal environment minister Tanya Plibersek has revealed plans to establish both a new national Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and a new environmental data and reporting body, but postponed the legislative changes needed to overhaul the cumbersome national environmental approvals process.
